North Atlantic
Waterfalls, black sand and a sky that refuses to behave.
Iceland sits on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where volcanoes, glaciers and hot springs share the same small island. The weather can change within minutes, and the landscape seems to enjoy it.
When to go
Summer brings near-endless daylight. From September to March, dark skies offer a chance of seeing the northern lights, though sightings are never guaranteed.
How we would plan it
We travel with a private driver-guide along the south coast and into the highlands when the roads open, stopping wherever the light is best.
Shall we go?
Tell us your dates and what you hope to find. We will take it from there.
